Library Thing

Library thing - interesting in that I found I have some fairly obscure reading tastes (Like the Feng Shui dectective) but 1 person had 5 titles that are in my catalogue.

I followed up and got some more titles to check out from the good old public library down the road. See my list by searching seahorse23

I have 3 of the Feng Shui detective series at home. Readers Feast is the only place I've found that still stocks them now that the Crime section of the Rendezvous Bookstore has closed. -Doodlebug

Thanks Doodlebug, I was lent the copies I read but I've noticed that they aren't easily found in bookshops.

Do you have anymore recommendations for crime fiction? - perhaps I should check out your librarything list. cheers, Fiona

Hi Fiona
You've probably already heard of the Falco novels by Lindsey Davis they'd have to be among my favorites.
Donna Leon's Commissario Guido Brunetti series set in Venice is really atmospheric with great characters.
I also like Peter Tremayne's Sister Fidelma series set in seventh century Ireland (you learn lots, but he does tend to repeatedly hit you over the head with how this was a the golden age for Ireland when Britain & Rome were still in the dark ages).
