Pitti Palace - Florence

This is an image from inside the courtyard of the Pitti Palace in Florence.
I like the image because of the different textures of the buildings surface are so intricate, and somehow tactile....
I wanted to add an image from a folder and see how I could add to my blog. Will also help when I join Flickr.

This is lovely - very tactile, it makes you want to run your hand over the surfaces - when I was in Florence spent all my time at Uffizi Gallery and really can't remember much else. I definitely wasn't allowed to touch anything!!!

Thanks for the nice comments everyone. Florence is so lovely. Another feature I particularly loved was the beautiful carved wooden front doors in central Florence - took a few photos of those too.
